PDF to PDF/A
Convert standard PDF files into ISO 19005-1 (PDF/A) compliant format for long-term document preservation and official electronic archiving.
This converts to PDF/A-2b, but it is not a validator.
It rejects documents PDF/A forbids — encrypted files, non-embedded fonts, JavaScript and attachments — then writes the sRGB output intent with its embedded ICC colour profile and the pdfaid identifier, and reads them back out of the saved file before claiming anything. It checks the rules listed on the result, not every clause of ISO 19005-2. Confirm the file with veraPDF before filing it as an archival master.
